A person is never entirely ordered, just as a geometric composition is never emotionally neutral. There is structure and spontaneity, stability and movement, the individual and the universal. What remains is a visual system: a way of asking whether something as personal and complex as identity can exist within a universal language of form. From individual to universal to abstract. My task is to explore that transition.
